Our monthly Song Circle stands as a beacon of spiritual rejuvenation and communal harmony. This unique gathering is designed to uplift the spirit, heal the soul, and strengthen the bonds of community through the powerful medium of sacred song and rhythm.

The event begins with a gentle opening ceremony and vocal warm-ups that sets the intention for the evening, creating a sacred space where all attendees feel safe, honored, and connected. As the circle unfolds, participants are guided through a series of HeartSongs and chants, drawn from a variety of world traditions. These songs, often simple in melody but profound in meaning, are designed to open the heart and cultivate a deep sense of inner peace and interconnectedness.

In addition to singing, the circle may incorporate native drumming, which serves as a powerful tool for grounding and connecting with the Earth's rhythms. The drum beats resonate deeply within, evoking ancient memories and fostering a profound connection to the natural world and the ancestors who walked this land before us.

Throughout the evening, the facilitators encourage mindfulness and presence, inviting participants to fully engage with the music, the community, and the sacred space they collectively create. The experience is not just about singing or drumming but about weaving a tapestry of sound that transcends words, touching the essence of who we are. Participants are welcome to bring their own conscious medicine/devotional songs to share with the community or if you have your own Native style hand drum or shaker, feel free to bring it also.

As the circle comes to a close, there is a palpable sense of unity and peace among the participants. Many express feelings of rejuvenation, clarity, and a deepened connection to their own spirit and to the community around them. The monthly HeartSongs Circle at SoderWorld's Body, Mind & Spirit Sanctuary is not just an event but a sacred journey, inviting all who attend to explore the depths of their being through the healing power of music and expressing your voice.

The circle welcomes individuals from all walks of life, regardless of their experience with music or spirituality, to share in this heart-centered experience.

Facilitators of this song circle will rotate and also give the community a chance to lead songs as well.
