Shannon is an Ordained Holistic Minister Practitioner, certified to perform legal religious services through LightWing Center, LifeSpirit Congregational Church.​​ Ceremonies can be custom for any person or event. They can be created in addition to, or in place of many popular celebrations. Such as; Weddings, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Bachelorette Partys, etc…
All Ceremonies are custom and unique to each individual and occasion. Some ceremonies such as Mother Blessingways consist of various rituals, such as; essential oil anointment, floral hair weaving, herbal footbath massage, Hena body art, yoga, beading keepsake necklace, dream catcher weaving, Mandala art, prayer flags, candlelight blessings, group painting, journaling, guided visual meditations, Reiki healing share circles, poetry, drumming, song and dance. Mother Blessing Ceremony - A Celebration of Motherhood
The Mother Blessing is a way for an expecting woman and her close friends/family to mark and celebrate her transition into motherhood. Unlike a Baby Shower, which is more baby and gift focused, the Mother Blessing is a sacred gathering centered upon the pregnant woman, giving her focused nourishing attention and support. Mother Blessing often include a sharing circle where participants offer heart-felt wishes (blessings) for the mama-to-be. Included in the Mother Blessing ceremony is a creative activity and a nurturing activity. It is a space where the mama-to-be can share her hopes, fears and dreams and feel supported and activated to go on into her birthing time.

With roots steaming from this American Indian tradition, Mother Blessing ceremonies have an inherent respect for nature, spirit, animal and plant life. These traditions direct us to experience pregnancy, birthing and moving into motherhood as a sacred transition. Within the Mother Blessing ceremony we practice being in tune with the cycles of life. We experience the support of our community, be that our friends who may have become mothers first, or our elders. These traditions encourage us to become humble as we pass through the gateways of motherhood initiation.
Mother Blessings are unified by many elements of the sacred feminine. We include that which is meaningful to us personally, socially and spiritually. This may be done through song, creative activities, intention setting, meaningful gift giving, pampering, ceremony and nourishing the senses with food, smells, textures and beauty.

Each ceremony is customized for a beautiful, unique and fun experience for ALL! I offer a complementary Smudging for the room & circle of guests with Sage to cleanse & purify sacred space for ceremony. (The smudging is optional).
Please note: while we are planning your Mother Blessing, please keep in mind that I highly suggest we keep this ceremony small, simple and intimate. Since special friends and family may be in town for your baby shower, in the morning before or evening after the shower in a quiet space may be a good time to have your Mother Blessing ceremony.

Ancestral Introduction with Red Ribbon
Guests introduce themselves and honor the women in their family who have walked before them.

Floral Hair Crown
A beautiful fresh floral crown is handcrafted and provided to adorn the the Mama Goddess. Each guest receives a small silk flower headband to adorn themselves and take home.

Herbal Foot Bath Massage
Wash worries away with this custom blended herbs, Epsom salts and essential oils. Foot tub provided.

Baby Dream Catcher Mobile
It is a tradition for Native American families to make Dream Catchers for their babies. The families hung them above where the children slept, to ensure happy dreams and a peaceful sleep. I hand make a Dream Catcher out of natural elements from mother earth. Then please ask each guest to bring 1 small sentimental bead with a large hole to be hung on it. Items chosen should not be too heavy to hang safely above baby’s crib & also can be easily tied to mobile. If you prefer for me to provide the beads, I am happy to do so at no extra cost.

Blessing Flags
We decorate flags with positive affirmations, prayers, poems and pictures, then hanging them like prayer flags. Not only is this a creative and fun activity, it also brings all your love and support into the mother, father and baby’s world when it’s hung in their home or laboring space.

Party Favors - As part of the ceremony, each guest will add pinch of herbs (Chamomile for Calming, Rosebuds/petals for Beauty, Lavender for Rejuvenating, Calendula for Healing) to the center bowl of Epsom salt. We will use that mixture to the for mama's herbal foot bath and each guest will be able to take home a small jar to enjoy.​

Wedding Ceremony
It is an honor to facilitate the sacred ceremony of uniting two people in marriage. Each ceremony is customized, and your ceremony should be just as unique as you are!
​
My calling guides me towards a more intimate setting of under 100 guests. As a Spiritual and Holistic Minister, my affiliation is not with any specific religious organization. Those who seek my officiant services are usually desiring a more neutral, spiritual, or earth-based approach to the blessings being offered on their special day. Often, the ceremonies I facilitate are enriched with the traditional Native American teachings I grew up with. I offer a traditional smudging (cleansing using sage and other sacred herbs) either before guests arrive, or as part of the ceremony. This option is complementary for any clients whom would like this to be incorporated.You can expect your ceremony to be delivered in a simple, yet special way. Short and Sweet.

Celebrations of Life
While a funeral, has more to do with the orderly and often spiritually-defined transition of the deceased from one social status to another; a celebration-of-life is more concerned with telling the story of the deceased. Celebrations-of-life are just that: a time people come together more to celebrate the unique personality and achievements of the deceased.
There's more room for creativity in a celebration-of-life than a funeral. Since celebrations-of-life are commonly held after the individual's physical remains have been cared for through burial or cremation; there is much more time available to plan the event. And without doubt, this allows you to make better decisions about how you'd like to celebrate the life of someone you dearly loved.
If you are wanting to pay tribute to a beloved family member and would like a more Earth-Based, or Spiritual Officiant to offer a blessing, smudging, a reading, or an anointing with essential oil, it would be my honor.

Sacred Circle Facilitator
Talking Circles, Peace-making Circles, Healing Circles as they are variously called, are deeply rooted in the traditional practices of the Anishinaabe indigenous people. When we meet in circle, we join to hold everyone in sacred space and purpose. I am honored to offer support to individuals or groups in the sacred ways that I was taught, by my Father Larry ManyHats Jacobs, a Stock-Bridge Munsee registered Mohican Elder and my mother Beverly Jacobs, mix blood and Cherokee. Love Donations Appreciated, but no one will ever be turned away due financial means.
Blessings and Anointing
Full Circle Harmony provides an opportunity to have Blessings performed at celebrations and rites of passage such as Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Baby showers, New homes, and other milestone events in life.

Anointing has been a sacred ritual for thousands of years in many different religions and ethnic groups, Anointing with Essential Oils is symbolic for offering a blessing, protection, and empowerment. Essential oils are the perfect element to guide our spiritual attunement and uplift our hearts.
