Join spiritual mentors Shannon Chada and Shawn Stevens for a special weekend program in honor of  Indigenous Peoples Day. Learn how to reclaim, discover, and deepen your own unique spiritual path through the doorways of an Indigenous mindset. Using the four cardinal directions as a guide, Shannon and Shawn will take you on a personal journey of the East, South, West, and North to help you

  • Explore your own unique spiritual tools
  • Pave a unique path of self-spiritual discovery
  • Deepen your relationship with yourself and the earth
  • Brighten your awareness of your place within the sacred circle of life.

This program is for everybody, no matter where you come from, or what your beliefs are. The wisdom shared respects all diversities.

NOTE: This program is inspired by Native American numerology and teachings. Tuition includes materials for creating your own spiritual tools.

  • Evening: Welcome Circle and storytelling of White Buffalo Calf Woman

Saturday

  • Morning: Storytelling and wisdom sharing of the 7 Elder Teachings
  • Afternoon: Exploring our spiritual expression through body, sound, vibration, and energy. Includes the creation of a spiritual tool box (all materials included).
  • Evening: Concert with drumming, singing, flute, and story telling

Sunday

  • Morning: Closing Circle and Q&A

About The Presenters:  

 

Shawn Stevens (Red Eagle) is an enrolled member of the Stockbridge Munsee band of Mohicans. He lives among his people who are originally from the Hudson Valley NY but now reside in Bowler, WI. A Spiritualist, musician, artist, historian, and sharer of knowledge, Shawn has been fulfilling his path journey for the past few decades by doing a variety of sharing in his people's ancestral lands as well as the Midwest. Shawn describes himself as a “Helper” to not only his people but to all. He explains that his Spiritual path is to share the many things given to him for spiritual direction and purpose. He does not have nor will accept any titles such as “Medicine man” or “Shaman.” Shawn is also a traditional Native American storyteller, drummer, dancer, singer, and flute player. He is an ordained minister of the Universal Church of Light and a certified facilitator of White Bison’s Mending Broken Hearts.

Shannon Chada (Good Singing Woman) walks a path of uniting nature, culture, and community. Shannon is founder and director of Full Circle Harmony Ministry, Academy of Holistic and Spiritual Arts. With over 20 years of experience, Shannon is a spiritual teacher, mentor, and Continued Education (CEU) provider for NCBTMB offering Reiki, aromatherapy, raindrop, yoga, along with other modalities of energy healing and holistic wellness. Shannon’s parents are her revered teachers, her mother and father, Beverly “Pipe Woman” and Larry “Many Hats” Jacobs (a registered Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican) instilled deep respect to share the sacred traditional ways of her people, and carry forward the indigenous teachings, crafts, and ceremonies.

Shannon innately serves her community as a compassionate Spiritual Leader, Ceremony Keeper, and Mentor of the Traditional Native way so that future generations may benefit from the wisdom of her elders. Shannon lovingly guides you inward to discover how you can implement positivity, passion, and purpose into your life. She empowers you with spiritual tools and the powerful healings of the heart that comes from connecting in full circle harmony with all living beings. Shannon’s primary locations are SoderWorld Wellness Center in Willowbrook, Illinois, and BodyCraft Wellness at Rock Valley Community College, Rockford, Illinois. Shannon currently lives with her husband and loves homeschooling their daughter in Homer Glen, Illinois.
